Specifications Introductions:
Prestressed steel wire is a general term for steel wire made of high quality high-carbon steel plates after acid washing, cold drawing or stable treatment after phosphating. According to the different production technology, it can be divided into two types: cold drawing steel wire and stress eliminating steel wire. According to the different surface conditions, it can be divided into plain steel wire, indentation steel wire, spiral rib steel wire. Cold drawing wire is a steel wire directly used for prestressed concrete after cold drawing.
Raw Material Requirements:
The main raw materials for prestressed concrete are High quality carbon steel wire rods of SWRH77B or SWRH82B , the main requirements for the wire rods are: size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, grade and chemical composition, smelting method, delivery state, mechanical properties, decarbonization layer, micro-structure, surface quality and special requirements, etc.
Cooling is controlled by Sterem technology which is used to achieve over 85% Sotenization rate . Generally, the coil produced according to the normal process can meet the production requirements of prestressed concrete steel wire and steel strand.
Standards of Steel Wire for Prestressed Concrete:
The current standards are GB/T5223-2014 " Prestressed concrete steel wire", according to ASTM A421-16, ASTM A881/A881M -2005, BS5896-2012, EN10138-2:2009, GOST 7348-81, TU U27.3-136-004-2003, DSTU ISO 6934-2, GOST 7348-81, DSTU ISO 6934 - 2, ABNT NBR 7482:2008, etc.
Applications for the Reinforcement of Concrete Constructions:
The application of steel wire for prestressed concrete consists of single-storey and multi-storey houses, highway and railway bridges, sleepers, electric poles, pressure water pipes, storage tanks, and water towers. Expand to modern high-rise buildings, under-ground buildings, high-rise structures, hydraulic buildings, marine structures, airport buildings(runways and terminal buildings), pressure vessels of nuclear power plants, etc...Various industries, such as super-tall, super-span, super-volume,super-large area, and over weight load, In various shapes and different functions of structural engineering.
Ranges of Wire Diameter:
